We have several positions open, along the following directions on modeling for applied public health: 1) screening (you’ll need experience with networks and mathematical modeling) 2) space (you’ll need experience with metapopulation modeling and inference) 3) epidemiological data (you’ll need experience with field data andstatistical models)

LAURA DI DOMENICO
In October 2019, Laura obtained from the University of Trento a Master Degree in Mathematics for Life and Data Science, with a focus on modeling, statistics and analysis of biosystems. She joined the EPIcx Lab in March 2019. Starting November 2019, she is carrying out her PhD research in Public Health under the supervision of Vittoria Colizza. GLOBAL EPIDEMIC AND MOBILITY MODEL Global epidemic and mobility model - GLEAM. Transportation systems keep expanding, becoming faster and more efficient, shrinking distances on the planet, and allowing increasing travel volumes. We are more mobile than ever before, and we can mix and interact at degrees and speeds that were unthinkable not so long ago. As adangerous byproduct
EUGENIO VALDANO
Eugenio's research interests revolve around modeling the spread of infectious diseases on contact, mobility, and transportation networks. He integrates theoretical and data-driven approaches, both aiming to get a general understanding of spreading processes, and at the same time being able to deal with real-world scenarios, specific diseases and contact structures.GIULIA PULLANO

short bio. After two Bachelor’s Degrees in Mathematical Engineering and Managerial Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 2017 Giulia Bassignana obtained her Master's Degree in Mathematical Engineering, at the same university. During that period, she joined the ARAMIS Lab at the Paris Brain Institute, Paris, France, for aELISABETTA COLOSI
Elisabetta is interested in infectious disease modeling and computational epidemiology. During her internship within the DPCS unit, Elisabetta studied the transmission dynamics of an antimicrobial pathogen in hospital settings using microbiological data. In her Ph.D. project, she will deal with epidemic models on temporal networks tostudy
