JOEL JOHN ROBERTS
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Joel Roberts joined PATH in September, 1996 and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for PATH. In 1996, PATH was a local one-site project in West Los Angeles. Under Joel’s leadership, the agency has grown into a multi-site, nationally-recognized leader in social services, known for its innovative co-location approach. Joel’s professional background is in International Relief and Development. He holds a Master’s Degree in Cross Cultural Studies from Fuller Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from California State University, Long Beach. When Joel has spare time, he likes to travel to exotic places around the world.__
CARLOS GONZALEZ
CHIEF INNOVATIONS OFFICER Carlos joined PATH in December 2009 and currently serves as the Chief Innovations Officer. Before stepping into this role, Carlos served as the Chief Compliance Officer, where he oversaw the fiscal compliance and quality assurance teams. Carlos also served as the Director of Programs at PATH and successfully operated PATH’s Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing programs that served over 2,000 individuals, Veterans and families throughout Los Angeles County. Additionally, Carlos was instrumental in launching and operating the nation’s largest HUD-VASH contract between PATH and the Department of Veteran Affairs bringing permanent housing and case management services to over 1,100 service men and woman experiencing homelessness in SouthernCalifornia.

AMY ANDERSON
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Amy joined the PATH family in 2014, and directs the work of PATH Ventures. With over 25 years experience in the fields of urban planning and real estate, Amy is a well-respected leader in the development of high-quality, affordable apartment communities. Over the course of her career, Amy has participated in the development of over 2,300 affordable homes worth in excess of $500 million. Prior to joining PATH Ventures, Amy worked with the California Housing Partnership Corporation, where she provided strategic and technical consulting services around affordable housing finance. She possesses a depth of experience with the full range of California housing finance programs and strong working relationships with major lenders andinvestors.
Within her own community of Santa Monica, Amy serves as a Planning Commissioner and previously served as a Housing Commissioner from 2009 – 2011. Amy has a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from UCLA and a B.A. from Cornell University.__

JENNIFER HARK-DIETZ
DEPUTY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR As Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Jennifer Hark Dietz, works with the Executive team on the overall philosophical direction and business management of the organization. Passionate about the population we serve, she provides clinical and contract oversight and oversees the coordination of all programs to ensure our ongoing ability to assist homeless families and individuals in securing permanent housing and increasing their quality of life. She came to PATH from the Greater Los Angeles Department of Veterans Affairs 4 years ago where she managed one of the largest HUD/VASH programs in the nation. Since joining PATH, she has overseen the substantial growth and development of all of our family, Veteran, and regional programs, and as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker has played a crucial role in implementing best practices at all levels of the organization. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and getting involved in her local community to impactpositive change.

SARAH KOLISH
CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER Sarah Kolish joined PATH in March, 2014. As Chief Administrative Officer, Sarah is responsible for the overall oversight, administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resources functions within PATH. She has worked in non-profit HR for nine years and in corporate HR for six years. Sarah’s expertise includes talent management, training and development, and leadership and management coaching. Sarah has provided HR direction to a workforce of over 1,000 employees and has experience with establishing human resources departments within growing companies. In her free time, Sarah enjoys relaxing with her husband and children.__
SANDY OLUWEK
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER Sandy oversees all accounting processes. Ms. Oluwek has a CPA certification and over 30 years of accounting and financial management experience in both the non-profit and for-profit worlds. She has worked with PATH first as a consultant and then as staff since 2011. Prior to joining PATH full-time, she was President of her own company, The Finance Oasis, Inc., which helps companies forecast and manage their cash flow, improve their profitability, and analyze various strategies for growth. Ms. Oluwek has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Yale University.__
CATALINA CATACUTAN
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTING Catalina Catacutan joined PATH in December, 2007 as the Senior Accountant. Her duties include supervising the accounting associates and working closely with Compliance to manage contracts. Before joining PATH, Catalina worked at KPMG-Philippines, where she gained extensive audit experience and at Elias Aziz-Lavi, CPA in Beverly Hills as an accountant. Catalina earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting and Economics at the University of the East, Philippines. She spends her free time volunteering with the elderly and infirm in her community and watching movies with her son.__
CHARLIE CHANG
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS Charlie Chang joined PATH in October, 1999 as the Operations Manager at PATH’s Westside facility, overseeing the Residential Associates, kitchens, and the maintenance staff. Charlie now serves as the Director of Operations over all of the PATH residential facilities. Prior to joining PATH, he was the general manager of a family-owned restaurant chain in Santa Monica and El Monte. Charlie likes to spend his free time hunting for baked goods and traveling without email.__
JONATHAN CASTILLO
REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF PATH SAN DIEGO Jonathan Castillo joined PATH in March, 2014 as the Director of Veteran Services. He now serves at the Regional Director of PATH San Diego. Prior to joining the PATH, Jonathan began his social work career at the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. He eventually joined the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center and served homeless Veterans in the HUD-VASH program as an Associate Coordinator and Social Work Supervisor. Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Social Work degree from Azusa Pacific University and his Master of Science in Social Work Administration from Case Western Reserve University. Jonathan became a Licensed Independent Social Worker in 2013. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys exploring new restaurants, working out, and running.__
LA KEISHIA CHILDERS
DIRECTOR OF COMPLIANCE AND QUALITY ASSURANCE La Keishia Childers joined PATH in March, 2013 and currently serves as the Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance. In this role, La Keishia has oversight of PATH’s Corporate Compliance and Quality Assurance Department and Program, which integrates contracts management, risk management, voluntary accreditation, state/federal licensure and certification, program evaluation, quality management, and continuous program improvement into the daily operations of PATH. La Keishia’s professional background includes non-profit administration and compliance, program development, community engagement, and direct practice with vulnerable populations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, with a Minor in Behavioral Science, from California Baptist University and a Master of Social Work degree with a macro concentration in Community Organizations, Planning and Administration from the University of SouthernCalifornia.

TESCIA URIBE
CHIEF PROGRAM OFFICER Tescia Uribe oversees PATH’s service-delivery programs throughout the state. As CPO, Tescia ensures a consistent approach and quality of services across all PATH and PATH Ventures programs, which serve Veterans, families and individuals with disabilities and include outreach and engagement, interim housing, permanent housing, housing placement and case management. She joined PATH in November 2013 as the Director of Veteran Clinical Services, and rose to become Regional Director of Metro LA programs in 2014. PATH promoted Tescia to the role of CPO in December 2017. Tescia has 15 years of experience working with highly vulnerable individuals who are homeless and often experiencing substance use, mental and physical health difficulties, and a variety of other barriers that prevent them from achieving their goals. Tescia is most passionate about ensuring our programs provide the highest quality services and are low barrier and person centered. She earned her bachelor of social work degree from Azusa Pacific University and her master of social work degree from the University of Southern California. Tescia became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2012.__
GEORGEANNE BARRETT
DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS Georgeanne Barrett joined PATH in June 2016 as the Director of Development. Georgeanne oversees PATH’s private giving, fundraising events, and volunteer program with an emphasis on engaging new individual and corporate support. Her background includes several years of experience in the nonprofit sector doing development work for organizations benefiting at-risk youth, children, and families. She has experience in volunteer management, event planning, and community engagement. Georgeanne received her Bachelors of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Arizona.__
MEREDITH BERKSON
REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF SOUTH COUNTY Meredith joined PATH in May, 2015. As the Regional Director of South County, she acts as the SPA 7 Coordinated Entry System lead for single adults, and directs PATH programs throughout the 44 cities (across SPA’s 6, 7, and 8) in South Los Angeles County. These programs include the Gateway Cities Council of Governments program, Gateways Connections, as well as the South Bay Council of Governments HomelessOutreach Program.
In 2016, Meredith was elected to serve as the SPA 7 Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority Regional Homelessness Advisory Committee representative. Before coming to PATH, Meredith worked in homeless services for five years, first in the Bay Area at Glide Foundation, and more recently, at OPCC, where she was program manager of their Access Center. Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley, where she graduated with highest honors in Sociology.__
MARIA BROWN
CO-DIRECTOR OF PERMANENT HOUSING Maria Brown joined PATH as the PATH Ventures Director of Permanent Housing in 2013. She oversees program delivery at seven PATH Ventures sites. In December 2000, Maria earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology/Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University inTexas.
Prior to joining PATH Ventures, she worked with the Dallas office of the Corporation for Supportive Housing, providing statewide technical assistance and policy support. Maria has extensive experience in the areas of street and jail outreach, behavioral health, and permanent supportive housing. She’s made presentations on supportive housing at various statewide conferences in Texas.__
MEGAN COLVARD
REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF PATH SAN JOSE Megan Colvard joined PATH in March, 2011. As the Regional Director of PATH San Jose, she currently oversees PATH’s efforts in the Bay Area, including the launch of PATH “Villas on the Park”, a 78 unit integrated supportive housing and services model that is designed to provide permanent housing solutions to those experiencing homelessness in downtown San Jose. Before taking on this role, Megan worked on the PATH Development team, where she worked to establish long-term relationships with private-sector influencers, corporations, and volunteers in thecommunity.
Megan earned her degree from UC Berkeley, where she studied Social Work and International Human Rights Law. In her free time, she enjoys surfing, rock climbing, and getting outside.__
CHUCK FLACKS
DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS, PATH SANTA BARBARA Chuck Flacks joined PATH in November of 2017 as the Program Director of PATH Santa Barbara, where he oversees operations and case management of clients. Chuck has over 25 years of experience in nonprofit programs. Prior to PATH, Chuck worked at the Central Coast Collaborative on Homelessness (C3H). C3H is a county-wide collaborative that works in partnership with a broad group of service providers and stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, business leaders, foundations, faith communities, and volunteers, to harness all resources available to reduce the number of people experiencing homelessness, as well as minimize the impacts of homelessness in Santa Barbara County. Chuck holds a Bachelors in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz, and a Master of Public Policy Degree from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. He also completed a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at San Diego State University.__
STEVE FIECHTER
REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF METRO LOS ANGELES Steve joined PATH’s Veteran Services department in 2013, and in 2015 co-lead PATH’s Intensive Case Management Team. Now, as Regional Director for Metro LA, Steve oversees the outreach, interim housing, and supportive service programs in metropolitan Los Angeles. Steve has long been an advocate for change, and for the application of theory into effective practice. For over a decade, Steve has actively worked to assist people experiencing homelessness, particularly those who also struggle with mental illness. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, received his MSW from CSU-Dominguez Hills, his BA in Economics from Montclair State University, as well as a Master of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. If you’re looking for him when he’s not at work, you might find him jogging somewhere in Hollywood or maybe at work in the garden.__
MICHUAN FLEMMING
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES Michuan Fleming is a Human Resources executive with more than 15 years of experience. She is currently the Senior Director of Human Resource for PATH. Michuan is responsible for creating innovative ways to engage all employees and establishing the culture, systems, and training that will develop leaders and empower employees to solve problems. She has also led efforts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our Human Resource function. Prior to our company, Ms. Fleming was Director of Human Resources at FVO Solutions and at Pacific Protection Services. Ms. Fleming holds the SHRM – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and HRCI – Senior Professional in Human Resource Certification (SPHR).__
HALEY FUSELIER
REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF WEST LOS ANGELES Haley Fuselier, LCSW joined PATH in April of 2015. On initially joining PATH, she was overseeing the Veteran Interim Housing Program. Within a few months, she expanded her leadership role to oversee interim housing, outreach in the WLA area, and rapid rehousing programs as a Regional Director. Haley is extensively involved in collaborations that work tirelessly to reduce instances of homelessness throughout Los Angeles County, while finding innovative ways to address the ongoing issues associated with homelessness. Haley received her MSW from the University of Southern California in 2005. She has extensive experience in the area of Child Welfare and worked at the Department of Children and Family Services before moving into homeless services in 2008. She successfully ran a homeless access center in Venice for 7 years focusing on harm reduction, housing the chronically homeless and mental health needs for dual diagnosis individuals.__
ELIZABETH HEGER
DEPUTY CHIEF PROGRAM OFFICER Elizabeth Heger joined PATH in 2015. As Deputy Chief Program Officer, she provides oversight to PATH’s Family Programs, the West LA and South County programs, and the Housing Partnership Program. Before joining PATH, Elizabeth worked at LA Family Housing as Director of Grants and Strategic Development. She also served as the Director of the Emergency Food and Shelter Program for over 10 years, working with more than 200 agencies throughout Los Angeles County and managing a 25 member Local Board. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in the homelessness sector, Elizabeth has developed a keen eye for service delivery from a programs and funder’s perspective. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience to continue the mission toend homelessness.
Elizabeth holds a Master of Counselor Education degree and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and National CertifiedCounselor.

CRAIG JOYCE
DIRECTOR OF VETERAN SERVICES Craig Joyce joined PATH in December, 2016 as the Director of Veteran Services. He has direct oversight for the overall administrative and management functions for the Veteran programs. Craig graduated with his MSW from the USC School of Social Work and began his career at the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center in 2009, serving homeless Veterans in the HUD-VASH program for 7 years. Craig served Veterans as a case manager, Assertive Community Treatment Team Lead, Social Work Supervisor and as a Program Manager. He received his License as a Clinical Social Worker in the State of California in 2013. In his free time, Craig enjoys cooking and traveling with his wife, visiting with family and friends in San Diego and Missouri, and he loves playing golf.__
MELISSA KHAMVONGSA
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF GIVING AND STRATEGY Melissa Khamvongsa joined PATH in February 2016 where she oversees statewide revenue goals through public and private funding while maintaining the organization’s strategic plan. Melissa and her team create and implement long-term strategies for funding opportunities and ensure consistent foundation, corporate, and government growth. Melissa has helped PATH identify and maintain new philanthropic relationships that support our mission of ending homelessness. Melissa has expertise in fundraising campaigns, grant writing and research, event planning, public policy, and strategic planning. Throughout her career, Melissa has raised more than $45 million for grassroots and large nonprofit organizations that include Youth Speak Collective, Hillsides, The Burn Foundation, and Southern California Grantmakers. Melissa received her Bachelors of Art from Loyola Marymount University and her Masters of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from the California State University Northridge.__
JENNIFER LEE
DIRECTOR OF HOUSING PARTNERSHIPS Jennifer joined the PATH in June 2016 as the Associate Director of SSVF, and currently serves as Director of Housing Partnerships. She started her career as a Political Coordinator for a local labor organization, obtained her clinical skills as a case manager with the VASH program at the Department of Veteran Affairs, and has spent time as a part-time lecturer in the Social Work School at the University of Southern California. She currently holds an LCSW from the state ofCalifornia.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Psychology degree from the University of California Irvine, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. In her spare time, she serves as Vice President of her Neighborhood Council, and loves to scuba dive.__
TESSA MADDEN STORMS
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS Tessa Madden joined PATH in 2011 and currently serves as the Senior Director of Development and Communications. Her background includes a wide variety of nonprofit development roles, including volunteer management, community engagement, grant writing, event planning, and individual donor cultivation. Most recently, Tessa served as PATH’s Regional Director of Santa Barbara. Tessa holds a Master of Public Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, both from the University of Southern California. In her free time, Tessa enjoys pilates, cooking, and is an avid football fan. She is also an active member of the Junior Leagueof Los Angeles.

DIRECTOR OF GRANTS
Tara Pak joined PATH in January 2017 as the associate director of foundation relations. As director of grants, Tara oversees PATH’s statewide foundation and corporate grant strategy, in addition to public-private partnerships and government funding in Los Angeles. A native Southern Californian, Tara has eight years of experience in the region’s social sector. Her passions are rooted in equity, and she has advocated for issues ranging from homelessness and public health to youth leadership development. Tara received her Bachelors of Arts in literary journalism from the University of California, Irvine.__
ALLISON RILEY
MANAGING DIRECTOR, REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT As Managing Director, Allison oversees the real estate development activities of PATH Ventures. She joined the organization with 14 years of experience in affordable housing, most recently as Senior Housing Finance Consultant at the California Housing Partnership Corporation (CHPC) where she provided financial consulting services and training to nonprofit affordable housing developers throughout California. Prior to CHPC, Allison was Senior Project Manager at LINC Housing Corporation where she spent over five years financing and developing a wide range of affordable housing developments including homes for families, seniors, and special needs populations. Her previous five years were focused on financing in project management roles at WNC and Associates, Inc. and HUD’s Multifamily Development Department in Denver. She earned her master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado.__
LAURA SANDOVAL
CO-DIRECTOR OF PERMANENT HOUSING As Co-Director of Permanent Housing, Laura oversees the design and implementation of onsite supportive services for over 400 residents living in PATH Ventures’ permanent supportive housing communities. She joined the PATH Family Ventures in 2013 and has 9 years of experience in both the supportive housing and mental health services. Prior to joining PATH Ventures, she worked with persons emerging from homelessness in a range of settings including outreach, safe haven, VASH, individual therapy, and permanent supportive housing. As a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner, Laura incorporates principles of hope, empowerment, and community into PATH Ventures’ services, with a focus on developing communities that promote meaningful roles and quality of life for all of its residents. Laura earned her master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach and a baccalaureate in Intercultural Studies.__
HANAN SCRAPPER
DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS, PATH SAN DIEGO Hanan Scrapper joined PATH in February 2018 as Director of Programs. Hanan oversees all programs of PATH San Diego with an emphasis on Whole Person Wellness. Current programs include: Street Outreach, Interim Housing, Employment, Rapid Re-Housing, Housing Navigation, and Permanent Supportive Housing. Her background includes over 10 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector focused around homelessness, domestic violence, human trafficking and most recently working with veterans and their families experiencing homelessness.__
