A lo largo de tres días, dialogaremos sobre las líneas posibles y deseables de acción para nuestras instituciones dados los contextos sociales en los que se ven inmersas. Las sesiones se enfocarán en los desafíos y responsabilidades de la convivencia en la diversidad social, política y cultural; sin dejar de lado la coexistencia con el ambiente. Siendo el estado más biodiverso de México, Oaxaca cuenta con una multiplicidad de lenguas indígenas, prácticas y tradiciones, así como de flora y fauna autóctona. Esta riqueza cultural y biológica trae aparejadas tensiones. Creemos que los museos tienen la capacidad de hacer eco de los problemas de los contextos en los que están inmersos y enfocarse en fomentar una mejor convivencia social.
