Some are still here, but most probably disappeared during the Middle Ages, when oak was used in shipbuilding, and in the 1600s when oak was exported from Norway to England and Holland. THE COUPLE | EKEBERGPARKEN – Art is manipulation without the intervention. As an adult, French-born Louise Bourgeois (1911–2010) moved to New York City, where she worked for the rest of her life. She had previously studied mathematics before shed decided upon pursuing a career as an artist.
