USING THE SAME LICENSE ON A DIFFERENT COMPUTER Make sure the external survey device you want to activate the license key for is present & enabled on the computer. Start Ekahau Pro application. On the license activation dialog, give your license key and associate it with the new survey device. You will be prompted the license key has already been activated for another Wi-Fi adapter. WHY AM I GETTING A NETWORK ERROR WHEN TRYING TO ACTIVATE This is typically caused by a proxy of company firewall that prevents the Ekahau Pro to reach the network and to our servers. The Ekahau Pro is Proxy aware however there can be environments that the proxy settings cannot be automatically recovered. For those cases there is a way to manually set some of the proxy settings by using the special EKAHAU SITE SURVEY & HEATMAP VISUALIZATIONS 1. Signal strength does not meet the requirement. The signal strength is below -65 dBm and the visualization is greyed-out. 2. High signal

Ekahau Capture saves packets in the industry standard .pcap format. Use the Sidekick all-in-one Wi-Fi diagnostics device included with Connect or any other packet analyzer (sold separately) to resolve connectivity issues, roaming issues, garbled audio, dropped calls and Wi-Fi driver issues.
