ROMANIA | EEA GRANTS On 13 October 2016 Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway signed new cooperation agreements with Romania on new programmes under the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021. PORTUGAL | EEA GRANTS On 22 May 2017 Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway signed a new cooperation agreement with Portugal under the EEA Grants 2014-2021. TRAINING AT THE GEOTHERMAL TRAINING PROGRAMME OF THE Summary of project results The project enabled six Hungarian participants to study at the special training course called Geothermal Training Programme of the United Nations University in Reykjavík, Iceland with a support of HUF 57.7 million, with a grant rate of 100%. HOME | EEA AND NORWAY GRANTS Foreword. The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented health and economic challenge that has put us all to the test. Times like these remind us that the best way to build resilience and strengthen our ability to tackle common challenges is to work together and create strong partnerships. JUSTICE AND HOME AFFAIRS Domestic and gender-based violence is a violation of fundamental rights with respect to dignity, equality and justice. Despite all efforts to counter such violence, it remains an extensive and widely FUND FOR REGIONAL COOPERATION How? The € 34.5 million Fund supports cooperation projects focusing on knowledge sharing, exchange of good practice and capacity building across the priority sectors of the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021.Within these sectors, funding is allocated to initiativessuch as:
FUND FOR YOUTH EMPLOYMENT About. The Fund for Youth Employment was established in 2017 to contribute to sustainable and quality youth employment in Europe. Unlike the ordinary programmes funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, this Fund has a transnational focus – it helps entities across Europe pooling their efforts to find new ways of reducing youthunemployment.
