For 2021, Edinburgh Festival Carnival have moved online with a three-day digital festival. Carnival will run from 16 - 18 July 2021 and we will present a wide range of local and international performances and online workshops. Inspired by Big Bill Bronzy to Muddy Waters, Lightin Hopkins to Buddy Guy over the years Sandy has cut his teeth playing the music of blues legends. Reviving traditional New Orleans jazz in Scotland, Tenement have been winning fans with their raw energy and excitement. For EJBF21 they pay tribute to the charismatic New Orleans trumpeter, Bunk Johnston - playing his 1947 album, and final recording, 'The Last Testament of a Great New Orleans Jazz Man'.
