Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for children age 8-14, also known as tweens, in Arkansas. Sadly, many of these deaths are preventable by children riding in the back seat of the vehicle and with the use of seatbelts. One of the solutions to reduce their death is for tweens to increase seatbelt use, and sit in the backseat.BRAND CENTER

It is a story of growth in skills and confidence, of continuing to push their project to the next level, and of reaching out to the community. During the event, students in EAST celebrate their projects already underway, discuss plans for future endeavours, and solicit new project ideas. We are working to get a lifeline service hotspot for low-income residents who do not have wifi available to them.
