Currently, DZU's staff comprises 11 radiologists, 3 doctors in training, 27 radiologic technologists and 30 administrative staff members, as well as 4 staff members who ensure that the premises are neat and clean.

The Examination: Patients are requested to change into a gown when necessary. Metal objects should be removed from the area to be examined. Using weak X-rays, the bone densitometry scanner creates images of the lumbar spine and the hip. The patient should not move while the images are being obtained. The entire examination takes

To put it very simply, the large quantity of hydrogen atoms present in the body are oriented towards a strong magnetic field as if they were CHEST/CHEST CAVITY MRI The Chest Cavity Area: You lie face-up on the MRT table, with your head at the front. Your head is in the tunnel. A coil is placed around your chest. Signals from your body are received through this coil. If an intravenous injection of contrast material is required it is administered through the venous access introduced earlier.

HISTORY | DZU

The beginnings of Diagnose Zentrum Urania date back to the final stages of World War II, when the general practitioner Dr. Wallner saved a British paratrooper's life. As a token of his gratitude the soldier gave the doctor an old x-ray machine from an abandoned military hospital. Since Wallner had little use for it as a general practitioner, he gave it to his friend, Dr. Karl Rohrbacher.
