DZU is one of the best diagnostic centers in the German-speaking world. Spanning a total area of about 2,500 square metres, the center offers the most modern X-ray procedures available. Currently, DZU's staff comprises 11 radiologists, 3 doctors in training, 27 radiologic technologists and 30 administrative staff members, as well as 4 staff members who ensure that the premises are neat and clean.MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
Patients are requested to make an appointment for all procedures. Click on Important Information, Preparation for detailed information on the requirements for an examination and respective procedure. The relevant information is enclosed in the corresponding instruction leaflet. The Examination: Patients are requested to change into a gown when necessary. Metal objects should be removed from the area to be examined. Using weak X-rays, the bone densitometry scanner creates images of the lumbar spine and the hip. The patient should not move while the images are being obtained. The entire examination takesabout 10 minutes.

As a token of his gratitude the soldier gave the doctor an old x-ray machine from an abandoned military hospital.
