Jared Polis named DRCOG as the independent agency that would host a new Regional Transportation District (RTD) Accountability Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to provide an independent and objective analysis of RTD's operations, and was formed in collaboration with the governor's office, RTD and the chairs of the COMMUNITY MOBILITY PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION CMPI Set-AsideThe purpose of the Community Mobility Planning and Implementation (CMPI) set-aside is to support small area planning and small infrastructure projects that contribute to the implementation of key outcomes within Metro Vision and the Metro Vision Regional Transportation Plan. The Focus travel model is an activity-based model for the Denver region developed by DRCOG in conjunction with Cambridge Systematics, Mark Bradley, and John Bowman. Based roughly on Sacramento’s activity-based model, the model synthesizes individual regional households and persons and forecasts their travel throughout a typical weekday based on personal and travel-related CALL FOR PROPOSALS OPENS FOR 2019-2021 AGING SERVICES Call for proposals opens for 2019-2021 aging services funds. The DRCOG Area Agency on Aging (AAA) receives federal Older Americans Act Title III funds and State Funding for Senior Services funds to support community-based service programs that benefit DEMOGRAPHIC AND STATISTICAL INFO The plan asses the Clark County, Washington's readiness to serve as a home for the growing number of older adults. The plan includes 91 strategies to improve the community's capacity to support the increase in older adults. The plan is centered around the five elements of: Healthy Communities, Housing, Transportation and mobility, SupportiveDRCOG JOB OPENINGS
