74 HONDA CB550 FOUR

Aug 24, 2013. #1. This will be my first attempt at testing the compression on this (any) engine. I see external signs of oil on cylinders 1 & 2, while 3 and 4 are dry. The carbs are off so I'm assuming the there isn't anything else to do but connect the gauges and crank the starter. Here are the results: C1 = 180 lbs, C2 = 190
