Generally, this is treated with a PANCREATITIS SUPPORT I am a bit confused about what to do with my dog, Jim. He is a six-year-old Springer Spaniel, and was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis. My vet has advised me to feed a low-fat diet to help prevent a recurrence, but with so many foods around I’m at a loss to know what’s right. "DO DOGS SHRINK AS THEY AGE?" In addition, as we get older, the discs between the vertebrae in our backs get drier and less elastic, and the result is a permanent loss of height. In dogs who walk on four limbs, this plays a lesser role and there is not the same loss of height. Of much greater importance in dogs is the progressive loss of muscle bulk due to less exerciseand
DOG POO RISK TO LIVESTOCK One study shows that up to 49 per cent of dogs carry campylobacter without any symptoms at all (illness is more common in puppies up to six months of age). MY DOG KEEPS SHAKING HIS HEAD BUT HIS EARS ARE CLEAN If your dog is constantly shaking or scratching even though their ears are clean you should call the vet immediately. Ear infections can get worse quickly and can cause severe hearing loss. The vet will thoroughly clean your dog’s ears, cut away any excess fur, and give you some antibiotics, usually an antibiotic rinse to be applieddirectly
