In August 2019, Dinosaur State Park celebrated the 53rd anniversary of the discovery of the tracks with a party featuring a wide range of free activities for visitors of all ages.Thousands of visitors joined in the fun. Special Programs at Dinosaur State Park. Throughout 2016, Dinosaur State Park will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the discovery of dinosaur tracks in Rocky Hill. DINOSAUR STATE PARK DAY DSP Day 2015. It was a bright and sunny day for our celebration of the discovery of the tracks at Dinosaur State Park. Thousands of visitors joined in the fun. Once again, there were free activities for visitors of all ages: games, crafts, educational programs and prizes. Children, parents, and grandchildren were encouraged to join in the fun FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY EVENTS Special Programs and Events were given throughout the year. Throughout 2016, Dinosaur State Park celebrated the 50th anniversary of the discovery of dinosaur tracks in Rocky Hill.
