DIGISPARK:TUTORIALS:BASICS NOTE: The internal pull-up resistor (turned on by calling digitalWrite(0) after setting the pin to output, where 0 is the pin number) are much weaker (about 25 kohm) on an ATtiny than on an Arduino, so the onboard LED interferes with them. Welcome to the Digistump wiki - we plan to grow this wiki to contain not only documentation for the Digispark and other Digistump products, but to also showcase projects, users, applications, and more! Detect if system clock was calibrated. When the digispark boots up, it uses the USB signal to calibrate its clock to 16.5mhz. When powered by an external power supply this doesn't happen and the clock speed is closer to 16.0mhz, with roughly 10% accuracy. If you want to detect if the clock was calibrated before starting your program you can use DIGISPARK:TUTORIALS:DIGIKEYBOARD Using DigiKeyboard.delay () will automatically spam DigiKeyboard.update () calls during the delay period. Re: Digispark Rev3 does not work or I dont know Nothing was wrong with rev3 - it just was never produced - the rev3 files were just like rev2 (of which we made 30k units) but had a few adjustments for better production. At the point those changes were made we released the files for the first time publicly, so we publicly released the rev3 files. ADDING THE BOOTLOADER TO MY DIGISPARK CLONE For all others I recommend first using 0xDF for the HIGH FUSE, which keeps reset enabled. That can be repeated as often as needed, the resulting digispark clone works like an digispark with the only difference, that PIN5 (RESET) is not available as IO.SOFTWARE SERIAL
SoftwareSerial works fine on the Digispark except for the 16.5MHz clock speed. If you can wait a couple of days for @Digistump to release the next version of the digispark arduino app (or if you're on a mac, use my beta build) you'll be able to select either the 16.0mhz or 8mhz digispark "board" from the Tools > Board menu. Both of these speeds compile fine with SoftwareSerial.INTERRUPT PINS

You can power the digispark with the USB port, or by wiring your 5V power supply or battery to the 5V and GND pins, or by wiring a higher (or lower, maybe?) voltage power supply to the VIN and GND pins. PS: If you didn\'t know, you can do this with Arduino too. Instead of powering from USB or from the barrel plug, you can wire directly tothe
