If a person can decide to enlist in the armed forces and put their life on the line to protect the United States, then it should be OK for them to buy and drink alcohol as they please. The drinking age should not be 21 and there should not be exceptions to these rules. INSTAGRAM FOR KIDS IS A TOXIC PLAYGROUND Instagram for kids is a toxic playground. Less than two weeks ago, Facebook announced that it is considering launching a new version of Instagram specifically catered to children under the age of 13. Instagram, which has recently expanded its simple photo-sharing format with “going-live” features and a shop function, currently does not ASIAN PEOPLE ARE MISREPRESENTED IN THE MEDIA Asian people are misrepresented in the media. There are currently 7.7 billion people in the world, and of those 7.7 billion, Asian people make up approximately 60% of the population. Even though Asians make up the majority of the world population, they are not accurately represented in the media, and that needs to change. FULLERTON APPROVES UPDATE ON AFFORDABLE HOUSING PLAN The plan is an effort to offer affordable housing to families in need, as well as addressing unhoused individuals’ needs. According to the report, the progress that the city has made on housing production must be presented in a public meeting to the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research as well as the State Department of Housing and Community Development by April 1.
