Most airlines require you now to bag or box your bike, very few just allow you to remove the pedals, deflate tyres and turn the handle bars around. THE 'VELOCHARGER' USB BICYCLE CHARGER The VeloCharger is a USB bicycle charger that is designed to take the raw AC voltage from a bicycle Hub Dynamo and converts the voltage to a stable 5 volt DC supply suitable for charging a mobile phone or other USB device. The VeloCharger is black plastic injection moulded unit that measures 32mm x 25mm x 106mm and weighs 54g.

Cycle Intercoms. For a number of years now my wife and I have been using a cycle intercom system to communicate to each other whilst touring. They have caused some interest, as on several occasions we have been stopped by people asking us about them and where they could

CYCLING AND CYCLE TOURING IN IRELAND Ireland has some great cycling possibilities with some stunningly beautiful scenery, from quiet rolling countryside, the more tougher mountainous areas in the south and the wild Atlantic coastline of the west coast. If you steer clear of the major trunk roads the minor roads are generally quiet unless you are close to the more touristy

Here are a few things to recommend it. * It's a relaxing way to see the country side, you tend to see and experience more of the country side from a bike than a car! * There's more chance to explore the countryside by taking quieter

tracks and lanes.

* You can go at your own pace, we have a brief idea of a route, but adjust it to how we feel and weather conditions. * If we find a place that we like, we often stay for a few days and explore before moving on. * It's not as expensive as some holidays. It's a healthy and environmentally friendly way to travel. * By staying on local campsites and tourist farms there is more chance of getting to know the local people and understanding their

culture.

It’s an amazing and useful tool and we would like to show that it’s much more than just sporting equipment or an incredible miracle of engineering; in many parts of the world and for many people having access to a bicycle can make the difference between being socially segregated and being part of the community.'_ Their aim is go to from Finland to Malaysia on their bikes. _'During this adventure we really want to show people that another way of travelling is possible and allows you to meet people and discover new places. And everything in a sustainable way !_ _But what we want to do above all is to share our deep belief that bicycles can help make this planet a little bit better. This is why we have decided to us our quest as a way to support 2 organisations._

They are cycling to

fundraise for two amazing associations which aim to make our world a better place using bicycles; _WHEELS FOR WELLBEING helps people with disabilities to enjoy the benefits of cycling thus becoming more independent, happier and healthier.
