MY TRAVEL DIARY: THREE DAYS IN PARIS AFTERNOON TEA TRADITION: EVERYTHING YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT Afternoon tea is a light meal served between 3:30 and 5 PM. It consists of tea, small sandwiches, cakes, pastries, scones, bread and jam. Although being an integral part of the British culture, an afternoon tea tradition is relatively new. There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known asafternoon tea.

SELF-GUIDED TOUR: FOLLOWING THE FOOTSTEPS OF REMBRANDT IN AMSTERDAM * Tea Gudek Å najdar* The Netherlands
On the early foggy morning, while the streets of Amsterdam were still quiet and peaceful, two men were carrying a huge mirror. Their heavily breathing was the only sound that could be heard on a canal next to which they were walking. After the loud crushing sound, they just looked at each other in disbelief. That was the mirror belonging to the famous painter Rembrandt who was using it for his self-portraits. And his…Continue Reading
