What is the CTA Advice Service? The Community Transport Association provides expert advice and support to organisations running community transport in the UK. We do this by providing support and information on a wide range of community transport related topics such as permits and licencing regulations, and by signposting our members to otherrelevant agencies.

The Transform Cymru Coalition brings together organisations across Wales that promote sustainable transport for all. Transform Cymru promotes a vision where communities across Wales PCV D1 TRAINING IN SCOTLAND Few people under 40 years old currently hold D1 entitlement on their driving licence. This is a problem which is already affecting community transport operators, but is likely to be a bigger problem in the future for those operators who use minibuses as the pool of people with D1 entitlement, and who can therefore legally drive a minibus with a weight of 3.5 tonnes or more, is diminishing WHY I BECAME A TRUSTEE CTA’s newest trustee, Chris Kutesko, writes about his journey through community transport and shares what inspired him to become a CTA Trustee. Most of my professional life has been spent working with transport and accessibility and, as a result, I’ve always been aware of the incredibly important role that community transport plays within the public passenger transport framework.
