An adventure in time travel begins every third Sunday at noon at Crystal Cove. Laura Davick, Founder Emeritus of Crystal Cove Conservancy, started offering an informal tour of the past, present, and future of the 12-acre Historic District way back in 2001. The cottage residents had just moved out, and the walking tour was PARKING AT LOS TRANCOS Parking at Los Trancos Parking at Los Trancos. KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR UPCOMING CHANGES AT THE LOS TRANCOS LOT. On Sept. 8, the state will be activating a new automated parking fee collection system at Los Trancos, making a visit to the Historic District and The Beachcomber Café easier than ever.

Dating back to around 1935, this charming and bright one-bedroom cottage served as the Cove’s snack shack/soda fountain. The Soda Shack has a soda fountain motif with interior wood paneling, colorful mid-century décor and open-beam ceilings which add to the spacious feel. One full bed and a sofa bed easily accommodate up to four

adults.

Los Trancos/Crystal Cove. Parking for the Historic District is located on the inland side of PCH at Los Trancos. There is a shuttle from the parking lot to the Historic District which runs 7 days a week from 7am-10pm for $1.50 per person each way. Visitors can also park and walk to the Historic District through a tunnel that passes under PCH.
