Honoring classic and current artists, the Museum exhibits everything from Hank Williams's cherished Martin guitar to Elvis Presley's custom Cadillac limousine, to outfits and instruments from the likes of Alison Krauss and Carrie Underwood, to a showcase of today’s topartists.

KEEPING HISTORY ALIVE The Museum has an extensive, permanent objects collection. This collection includes more than eight hundred stage costumes, over six hundred instruments, and hundreds of other objects—from microphones to automobiles—documenting the history of country music. Explore the collections California luthier Jim Harvey custom-built this double-neck electric guitar for Paul Buskirk in 1958. The instrument includes a six-string mandola-scale neck and a standard guitar neck and features a bird’s-eye maple body, walnut accents, abalone inlay, Fender Stratocaster pickups, and Bigsby vibratos.
