UPGRADING - COPPERMINE PHOTO GALLERY - DOCUMENTATION & MANUAL There is a slight difference though in the definition of the coppermine developers: upgrading usually means increasing the major version number, e.g. from cpg1. 4 .x to cpg1. 5 .x; while updating usually refers to minor version increases, e.g. maintenance releases from cpg1.5. x to cpg1.5. y.

PERMISSIONS

Setting permissions. Any PHP script that is supposed to be run on a webserver needs read and execute permissions on the server. Subsequently, all Coppermine-files need this permission. WATERMARKING

Watermarking. Watermarking is a config option in Coppermine that can be enabled if needed. By default, watermarking is turned off. The settings can be found in Configuration → Image watermarking. Watermarking works both with with ImageMagick and GD2.

TEMPLATE.HTML

Editing template.html. The file template.html is the core file of each theme: it can only contain HTML/CSS/JavaScript code (no PHP!) plus some placeholder tokens that will get replaced with content when the theme is being parsed (i.e. when the HTML output of a gallery page is

With many thanks to our community user ron4mac, the creator of this plugin, we present a great new HTML5 uploader. With drag and drop facility and concurrent uploads this is a superb addition to Coppermine 1.5.x Currently it supports most modern browsers with the exception being IE versions 9 and older but if you have IE10, Firefox, Safari, Chrome or one of many others this is a superb way to upload

all your files.
