CRESCENT ROLL CREAM CHEESE COFFEE CAKE Instructions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8 inch square pan with nonstick foil. Arrange half the dough over the bottom of the pan and press pieces together to make a crust. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with the 2 tablespoons egg, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread cheese mixture over dough. COOK'S ILLUSTRATED FLUFFY YELLOW CAKE Instructions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 9-inch-wide by 2-inch-high round cake pans and line bottoms with parchment paper. Dust with flour. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 1 1/2 cups sugar together in large bowl. BANANA BREAD WITH SOUR CREAM AND OIL Instructions. MIXED NUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES Set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter, nut butter and both sugars until creamy. Beat in the vanilla. Scrape sides of bowl and add egg and the yolk. Mix by hand, then beat on medium speed until egg is blended in. Add the flour mixture gradually, stirring by hand until incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chunks and nuts. SKOR BAR OATMEAL COOKIES Skor Bar Oatmeal Cookies. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. cream the butter, oil and brown sugar. Add the egg and beat until fluffy. Add the sour cream and vanilla. Stir in the currants and oats. In a separate bowl, mix the baking soda, cinnamon, salt and flour. Add this to the above creamed mixture in portions, beating well after eachaddition.

In a mixing bowl, stir together the mashed banana, sugar, coconut oil, molasses and buttermilk. Add the flour mixture to the banana mixture and stir until blended. BANANA BREAD WITH SOUR CREAM AND OIL Instructions. Preheat the oven 350°F Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan. I always use Pyrex for this one. In a large bowl, thoroughly whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Combine the sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla in a mixing bowl and mix just until blended. Add the bananas and sour cream and mix until just blended. YOTAM OTTOLENGHI'S LEMON CAKE Put the confectioners' sugar in a bowl or better yet, a 2 cup glass measure. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice and mix well. Continue adding lemon juice and stirring until the icing is smooth and pourable. Whisk together lemon juice and confectioners’ sugar until smooth. Pour over the cake and gently spread out. MIXED NUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES Set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter, nut butter and both sugars until creamy. Beat in the vanilla. Scrape sides of bowl and add egg and the yolk. Mix by hand, then beat on medium speed until egg is blended in. Add the flour mixture gradually, stirring by hand until incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chunks and nuts. SELF-RISING FLOUR BANANA BREAD Instructions. Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease bottom only of an 8 1/2 by 4 1/2 inch loaf pan. If desired, line vertically with a strip of parchment paper to make a sling. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the self rising flour and the sugar. Add the eggs, buttermilk and vanilla and stir until well blended, then stir in the oil. FOOD PROCESSOR CINNAMON ROLLS Preheat oven to 350 degrees and adjust oven rack to the middle position. Bake the rolls for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. To make the icing, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then beat in corn syrup, vanilla and sugar. Add cream until icing is BEST EVER PANCAKES AKA MALTED MILK POWDER The malted milk powder makes them light and adds a little malty flavor and a touch of sweetness. You can cut the recipe in half if you want a small batch, but an even better option is to make all the pancakes, stack them between parchment and freeze them. The night before, put the pancakes in the refrigerator too thaw, then just warm them in COOK'S ILLUSTRATED FLUFFY YELLOW CAKE Instructions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 9-inch-wide by 2-inch-high round cake pans and line bottoms with parchment paper. Dust with flour. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 1 1/2 cups sugar together in large bowl.COOKIE MADNESS

We’re making some major changes in our lives as of late, so Cookie Madness has been a little quiet. However, amidst all the transitions I did manage to find new favorite granola recipe. It’s called Carrot Cake Granola, and it was inspired by some very good (but expensive!)packaged granola.
