As a parent who wishes to encourage success at school for my two children, I found math practice to be a weak link in their school work.. I set up his own ID, but I bring him to the computer and I log him in and we negotiate how many questions and/or how many minutes he will spend IT TAKES LONGER THAN PARENTS REMEMBER As I work with my 9-year-old to make sure he’s practicing his math facts, I realize that his road to mastery of the times tables (which I define and me being able to ask him tough ones like 7 times 8 and he answering swiftly) is slow.
