Sailboat Rentals. For experienced sailors, Community Boating offers one-day keelboat rentals to non-members. We offer two types of sailboats for rent: Our sailing area covers the Charles River Basin, stretching between the Mass Ave bridge and the Longfellow bridge. Our classes are taught by nationally certified, world-class instructors. They typically run five or ten days, either in the morning or afternoon. Each is geared towards novice, intermediate or advanced sailors, providing structured practice opportunities, advice, and instructor support. SPRING WORK PARTIES
Splash the Fleet: Saturday, March 14th | 10am-1pm We’ll need all hands on deck to help get our Mercuries into the water, place the masts onto the boats, rig them, and tune them. There will be loads of hands-on work to do, it’ll be fun and interactive. No prior experience is necessary. Coffee, breakfast bars, snacks, and refreshments will be provided. All are welcome! Spring Cleaning: Saturday, March 28th | 10am-1pm Join us for our last Spring Work Party to finalize all our spring cleaning before the season starts. We’ll be cleaning out the lockers, the main bay, and the boathouse. We’ll repopulate the life jackets, unwrap the sails from storage, and tune the boats. Coffee, breakfast bars, snacks, and refreshments will be provided. All are welcome! Thank you Polar Beverages for donating water and seltzer. CHEERS TO SPRING CELEBRATION Tuesday, March 24th | 6pm-8pm Help us kick off the season at our Cheers to Spring Celebration at Cheers/Hampshire House on Beacon Street. Join us in raising a glass to the new season and participate in our cash raffle for awesome gifts! Appetizers will be served; cash bar. This event is 21+ANNOUNCEMENTS
