The family-owned Collins traces its roots back to 1855, when T.D. Collins began timber operations in Pennsylvania. By the turn of the century, the family had expanded west. Today we are based in Oregon and still family-owned. Collins produces these wood products: softwoods, hardwoods, NAF pine particleboard, TruWood Siding & Trim.

All three Collins forests—Pennsylvania, Almanor, and Lakeview—have been independently certified by SCS Global Services in accordance with the standards and policies of the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®). The 311,000 acres of Collins timberlands are biodiverse, multi-layered, canopied forests, not single-species tree farms.

The Collins Pine Museum was opened to the public in May of 2007. There is no admission fee and the museum is open from mid-May until mid-October, Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
