The first installment in The Last Tide series is the story of Solca Vis, a young woman transported into another world. Rather than landing near any nation or continent on earth, Solca finds herself at the end of the world. A by class and a fisherwoman by trade, Solca Vis will discover what classes, levels, monsters, and magic are at FANTASTIC FRIGHTS IS OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS! The Cloudscape Comics Society is proud to announce that FANTASTIC FRIGHTS, the all-ages fantasy/horror comics anthology, is now open for submissions!. Phantomarine is an ongoing webcomic by Claire K. Niebergall.It starts with a recently-deceased Princess Phaedra negotiating with a death god for her life. The death god is a shapeshifting being known as Cheth and can take on the form of any who have died in the sea. TOWER 25: THE GRAPHIC MEMOIR TOWER 25 is a 128 page graphic memoir about homelessness, addiction, trauma and recovery. Written and illustrated by PJ Patten, Tower 25 follows his journey through homelessness, from living in a nice condo to sleeping in bathrooms at the beach after losing everything to methaddiction.

Now that we have practiced going from panel to panel, now it’s time to focus on what will go in those panels. These are the thumbnails I submitted to Bevan since he edited my story (It would be a bit weird if I edited my own!). BEVAN THOMAS WALKS US THROUGH HIS PROCESS FOR WRITING HIS Selecting My Story for Through the Labyrinths of the Mind. by Bevan Thomas. After I put together the general plan of Through the Labyrinths of the Mind, I had to figure out what my own story would be.I knew many people would be contributing memoirs, so I wanted to do something different. AN INTRODUCTION TO GRAPHIC NOVELS: SEQUENCES 1. Moment to Moment. This is the transition that uses the least amount of time; changes in panels take only seconds. Moment to Moment transitions help to give a “slow motion” feel to a comic, making each second an important one, and bringing each action into starkrelief.
AN INTRODUCTION TO GRAPHIC NOVELS: CHARACTER DESIGN 3. Choose the best idea. This needs to solve all parts of the original design problem you identified in step 1. 4. Draw the Character. THROUGH THE LABYRINTHS OF THE MIND, COMICS ANTHOLOGY Each of Labyrinths’ stories explores mental health in a unique and personal way. Many are memoirs in which the cartoonists candidly describe their own struggles, while others take inspiration from their creators’ experiences to tell fictional stories in numerous genres, ranging from realistic slice-of-life dramas to tales of magic andfantasy.
LIFE FINDS A WAY, COMICS ANTHOLOGY Edited by Dan Anctil and Alina Pete, Life Finds a Way contains 20 stories from cartoonists around the world, with apocalypses technological, supernatural, and surreal. But more importantly, these are stories about people coming together, getting creative, forming community, and helping each other.
