CAPITAL ONE CITY PARKS FOUNDATION SUMMERSTAGE Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage is New York’s largest free outdoor performing arts festival. In a typical year, SummerStage presents approximately 100 performances in 15-18 parks throughout the five boroughs. CityParks Track & Field Summer Program. Ages 8 – 17 July – August Twice Weekly, Free. The CityParks Track & Field program provides an introduction to the simple yet beautiful sport of track and field and gives New York City kids the chance to learn the basics of the sport, from hurdles and relay races to long jump, shot put and javelin throw, while encouraging general fitness and healthy NYC GREEN RELIEF & RECOVERY FUND In May 2020, a coalition of national, family, and community foundations launched the NYC Green Relief & Recovery Fund to support stewardship organizations that care for New York City’s parks and open spaces. The Fund is intended to respond to the most urgent needs facing the City’s parks and open spaces, while spurringpolicy-makers to

The CityParks Junior Golf Center is a comprehensive training facility that offers free youth instruction and use of equipment for all ability levels. The Center features a 6-hole par 3 course, putting and chipping greens, a driving range, clubhouse and classroom. CITYPARKS GREEN GIRLS EMPOWERED BY ING The CityParks Green Girls Empowered by ING Summer Institute is a Science program that engages up to 40 middle school girls, ages 10-13, in five weeks of fun-filled outdoor adventures.
