We have three libraries in the City of Adelaide: one in Rundle Mall, one at Hutt Street, and one in North Adelaide. We also have a rich and diverse Virtual Library open 24/7. Our communities sit at the heart of whatever we do and lifelong learning is a core part of our service. Through valuable partnerships we bring you a variety of programs CITY WORKS | CITY OF ADELAIDE City Work Guidelines. To assist you in planning your work activities, we have developed a suite of City Works Guides: City Works Guide # 1: - Works in the Public Realm. A guide for road and footpath occupation, compounds, pedestrian raceways, hoarding, and parking. City Works Guide # 2: Works Impacting Council Assets. UNESCO CITY OF MUSIC Make a vibrant music culture. When Music SA conducted their annual Live Music Census in May 2018, they discovered that across metropolitan Adelaide there were 1,227 gigs across 201 venues over the course of the month. This works out to around 300 gigs per week. By comparison, fellow UNESCO City of Music Glasgow hosts 150+ live musicgigs a week.
