I already own One of these, together with a couple of other 16mm's, Cine Kodak B, BBjunior, E, K and mag.cameras. K3 and Kiev 16u from CCCP and also Filmo 70DR and a Bell & Hotell 200. Nobody seems to use the Pathe thing for filming att all, just as paperweights. I hope to run a few meters just to see what happens. FILM RESOLUTION EQUIVALENT 18k = IMAX 15-perf (or 36K?) 12-13k = 70MM 5-perf 6K = 35MM 4-perf 3K = 35MM 2-perf 1.8K = S16MM 1.5K = 16MM 720p = S8MM 480 = 8MM I had to share this with someone. I found so many people including myself looking for these numbers I had to compile this list. I CURRENT AVAILABILITY OF 35MM SHORT ENDS Im considering the possibility of getting into 35mm but only if there is a decent supply of short ends that I could use as film stock. A number of years ago, I guess availability wasnt so much of an issue. However, these days, Im noticing much less film is used in general for TV shows, commercial DO YOU COLOUR GRADE/CORRECT FIRST OR DO THE VFX FIRST you always do the VFX to the original footage or to the online intermediate format used in the whole pipeline. not to the color corrected versions. the idea is to use the best quality original footage in vfx to maintain best quality but to maintain color consistency at the same time and to be able to change the grade after the time-consuming vfx is made (the vfx team just ADDS the effects to DO HONDA PORTABLE GENERATORS HAVE TO BE GROUNDED 1) A fault in a metal fixture energizes the entire housing as soon as the circuit is turned on. 2) Since the ground wire and the neutral wire are not bonded at the generator bus, and the generator is not grounded to earth by an grounding electrode, the equipmet grounding wire does not offer a path for the fault current to complete the circuit back to the generator windings. BRUTE LIGHTS? DINO LIGHTS? Im trying to understand more about lighting fixtures with multiple lamps arrayed between 9 to 24 total lamps. I'm rusty on my TV operating engineering but I believe that since black is IRE 7.5% and white is 100% IRE that an 18% gray card should be 18% of the way between 7.5 and 100 therefore = IRE 24.15 ( (.18 X (100 - 7.5)) + 7.5= 24.15

HOW TO OPERATE CINEMA CAMERA, GIMBAL, & PULLING FOCUS I just purchased a Blackmagic 6K Pro Cinema Camera. I am a single person camera operator. With my prior camera system I was able to easily operate the camera and gimbal and the camera was auto focus. So, camera focus during movement was easily handled by the auto focus.
