CAPTIVATING CREATURES OF THE DEEP Octopus are one of the most distinctive creatures of the ocean and known for their intelligence. Considered the “monster of the deep”, octopuses are famous for their rounded bodies, bulging eyes, and eight long arms complete with powerful suctions. They live in all parts of our world’s oceans but are plentiful in warm, tropicalwaters.
CHILDREN'S THEATRE COMPANY CTC’s Virtual Academy classes for Ages 3 – 18 are designed for students to explore their creativity, discover possibilities, and connect and collaborate with peers. Specifically designed for online learning, Virtual Academy classes meet weekly to inspire creativity and connection that reaches beyond the Zoom classroom. SIGN UP. Education Policies. As part of CTC’s commitment to access and inclusion, we make intentional choices in our classroom practices to make sure we are a welcoming space for peoples of all abilities, ethnicity, economic status, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Our program includes need-based scholarships, all-gender restrooms SENSORY FRIENDLY PROGRAMMING Sensory Friendly Programming. CTC understands that patrons with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder have unique and varying sensory needs and sensitivities, as may individuals with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, and other sensory, social, and cognitive disabilities and mental illnesses. SEEDFOLKS STUDENT MATINEE Seedfolks is performed by one actor who portrays all characters. The play is based on the Newberry Medal-winning novel by Paul Fleischman. Most of the characters in the original book are included in the play as well as a few new characters. Virgil, Nora, and Maricela are not included in the play.
