Recycle at CERES CERES aims to encourage recycling in Melbourne and partners with Envirostream to recover household batteries for use in manufacturing in Australia. Envirostream is Australia's first onshore mixed battery recycling facility. Batteries can be dropped at the Visitor Centre for collection by Envirostream for processing. Participants will learn how to make and maintain their own beeswax wraps for keeping food fresh and hygienic without the use of single-use plastics such as cling-wrap. This is a hands-on workshop where participants will make their own washable and reusable ready-to-use beeswax wraps and learn skills that are transferable to the home environment. STUDENT ENVIRONMENT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM The Student Environment Leadership Program (SELP) is available for booking and can be delivered online or face to face. SELP is designed to let students’ inner leader shine and help them develop and deliver sustainability projects. When paired with a staff professional learning workshop, teachers can help to empower students to become EARLY CHILDHOOD INCURSIONS After a redevelopment hiatus, CERES Education is reintroducing Early Childhood Incursions in 2017 with an exciting new format! Early Childhood Incursions will be run as a minimum of 3 sessions and are $600 (GST free) 3 x 45 minute student sessions OR. 2 x 45 student GRADE 5 SUSTAINABILITY INQUIRY UNIT Grade 5 sustainability inquiry unit.
