Council. The highest decision-making body of the CBSS, the Council, consists of the 11 Foreign Ministers of the CBSS Member States, plus a High-level Representative of the European Union. Secretariat. A Permanent International Secretariat of the CBSS was established following a decision taken at the 7th Ministerial Session of the CBSS in 1998 in Nyborg, Denmark. The Secretariat was officially inaugurated at its premises on the island of Strömsborg in Stockholm on 20 October 1998. In July 2020 the Secretariat moved to the SUSTAINABLE AND GREEN TRANSFORMATIONS OF THE RESOURCE Sustainable management and use of Earth’s natural resources within the planetary boundaries is especially crucial in this pandemic time. We need urgent actions and support for green transitions if we want our recovery to be fast, healthy and more sustainable than it wasbefore.
