I CAN PROBLEM SOLVE
Preschool & Elementary SELect Program Program Design and Implementation Support. The I Can Problem Solve program teaches students how to generate alternative solutions, anticipate consequences, and effectively solve problems. It is designed for use in prekindergarten through the elementary grades and is divided into three sets of lessons for prekindergarten (59 lessons), BELONGING AND EMOTIONAL SAFETY Belonging and Emotional Safety. When teachers build the structures that support belonging and emotional safety, they lay the groundwork for students to focus on learning (Sergiovanni, 1994 in Darling-Hammond et al., 2017).ROBERT JAGERS
Robert J. Jagers Vice President of Research. Robert J. Jagers is CASEL’s vice president of research. Prior to joining CASEL, he was a faculty member in the Combined Program in Education and Psychology at the University of Michigan, a Co-PI of the Center for the Study of Black Youth in Context (CSBYC), and the founding director of Wolverine Pathways, a university-sponsored diversity pipeline MOSAIC - CASEL PROGRAM GUIDE Mosaic, offered by ACT SEL, provides a lesson-based approach to SEL. It includes programming for grades 6-8 and demonstrates evidence of effectiveness at grades 6-8. Translated materials are available inSpanish and Arabic.
