THE CARVIN MUSEUM
Carvin has created a wide variety of guitars in their history - over 50 different models in the past 30 years alone. The new X-50B sold for $499, and the X-100B dropped in price to $579. The X60 Combo Tube Amp went away in 1991, and to replace it, Carvin introduced the XT112 (left). This amp was based on the X-50B amp chassis, with one 12" BR12 speaker. Price on this combo was $499. The XV212 was still available, and had dropped in price to $669.THE CARVIN MUSEUM
The DC127 (near right) and DC135 (far right), sported the rounded body sides in the catalog photo. Less obvious, but still present was the new alder body construction with maple neck. This CT6C is finished in deep-triple step Tiger's Eye stain with cherryburst edges. This is a 2005 model CT6M in Umber Stain on quilted maple.. This guitar has a sort of historical significance - it's the first CT6M to appear on eBay. Here's a very interesting CT6T. The passive LB20 and active LB70 were unchanged for 2002, and the prices were unchanged from 2001. The LB20 was priced at $589, and the LB70 was priced at $659. The LB70P was priced at $809. The most exciting news to come out of San Diego in 2004, and actually, one of the most exciting new products in Carvin's history, was the California Carved Top model, or CT6M.This guitar was the result of many customer requests for a carved-top model, and sported a whole list of new features.THE CARVIN MUSEUM
The Ultra V got a new two-page catalog spread, showing the scalloped body edges that were introduced in 1988. It had all the features and options of other Carvin guitars, with the exception of left-handed models, maple fingerboard, and 3X3 headstock.THE CARVIN MUSEUM

The new X-50B sold for $499, and the X-100B dropped in price to $579. The X60 Combo Tube Amp went away in 1991, and to replace it, Carvin introduced the XT112 (left). This amp was based on the X-50B amp chassis, with one 12" BR12 speaker. Price on this combo was $499. The XV212 was still available, and had dropped in price to $669.THE CARVIN MUSEUM

Harry Scheidegger's X220CL. This X220CL that appeared on eBay in the fall of '05 is worth a second look. Note that it has the headstock and logo of a '93 model, but the X220 officially ended production in late 1992 - therefore, this may be one of the last ones ever made.
