The Outside Project and Cardboard Citizens have joined forces on a series of workshops for people who identify as LGBTQ+ are aged 16-25, and are affected by homelessness.. Participants will join together in workshops using theatre games and exercises over seven weeks in May and June 2021, before a week-long residency and performance. From April to December 2021, we are working in partnership with Coventry City of Culture, Belgrade Theatre and Underground Lights to deliver a creative programme of workshops, WHAT WE DO - CARDBOARD CITIZENS What we do to explore creativity and self-expression with people with experience of homelessness, using techniques from Theatre of theOppressed.
WHAT NOW FOR THE THEATRE OF THE OPPRESSED? ADRIAN JACKSON The eighth conversation in our What Now for the Theatre of the Oppressed series will be live on Cardboard Citizens’ Facebook and Youtube at 3pm BST / 2pm UTC on Friday 17 July 2020.. Cardboard Camps is our programme of residencies taking place around the country. The three-year project aims to build networks of those interested in using arts for social justice, training individuals and organisations in Cardboard Citizens techniques, and hosting residencies with partner theatres around theOUTSIDE THE BOX
The Outside Project and Cardboard Citizens have joined forces on a series of workshops for people who identify as LGBTQ+ are aged 16-25, and are affected by homelessness.. Participants will join together in workshops using theatre games and exercises over seven weeks in May and June 2021, before a week-long residency and performance.
