A CAMH survey conducted after the COVID-19 pandemic began has found that young people perceive their mental health to have deteriorated. The survey was completed by over 600 young people from across Ontario ages 14–27. It included youth who had sought mental health services from ONTARIO STRUCTURED PSYCHOTHERAPY (OSP) PROGRAM Program Overview. Treatment is offered primarily through individual online sessions. The word psychosis is used to describe conditions that affect the mind, in which people have trouble distinguishing between what is real and what is not. When this occurs, it is called a psychotic episode. A first episode of psychosis is often very frightening, confusing and distressing, particularly because it is an unfamiliar experience.
