Camden Park House is one of Australia's most important Georgian Houses. Designed by Architect John Verge and completed in 1835, Camden Park is recognised for its architecture and connect to the Macarthur family. I don't see the need for grand stables" The stables were completed in 1885 ELIZABETH MACARTHUR-ONSLOW Elizabeth Onslow, born at Camden Park in 1840, was a remarkable young woman who became the head of the Macarthur family and the huge Camden Park Estate. Elizabeth married Captain Arthur Onslow in 1867 and her father, James Macarthur, died in April the same year. Her husband diedin January 1882.
