WHAT'S HAPPENING AT THE BYRON COMMUNITY CENTREWHO WE ARE
Welcome to the Byron Community Centre, the heart and centre of the Byron Bay community. We aim to provide the community with projects which support our local community. We are completely not for profit and our services are made possible by gaining funding by applying for government grants as well as through our four social enterprises: The Byron Markets, Venue Hire
and the Byron Theatre . These enterprises are run by a team of dedicated staff who receive help from a team of committedvolunteers.
We work together to provide Byron Bay with a platform that encourages both social and cultural inclusion and we do this by inspiring a senseof community.
WHAT WE DO
We provide support for our local community by hosting a range of community-based projects. These aim to better the lives of the people in need within the Byron Bay community. These community-based projects include: The Homeless Showerswhich
provides hot showers to those facing homelessness. Our Seniors Programs which is comprised of activities for seniors in order to inspire inclusion and lifebetterment.
The Severe Weather Shelter, a
project which offers emergency shelter to those in need through extreme wet weather phenomena. Our Homeless Breakfastwhich
gives healthy and wholesome meals to those facing disadvantagedcircumstances.
Our community-based projects have played an important role in improving the lives of those who need support within the community and with the help of our dedicated staff and generous team of volunteers, we will continue to provide services which aim to connect and support the local community. 69 Jonson St, Byron Bay | 02 6685 6807 | info@byroncentre.com.auSEARCH THE BCC
