Getting There: Access is from the Western Highway between Beaufort and Ararat. Do not turn off where there is a brown and white tourist sign to Langi-Ghiran State Park. The walk is from Langhi Ghiran Track so you’ll need to take the next road to the East of that turn-off (Sandpit Road), which is not signed but can be easily found in relation to Colonial Road and the railway track crossing REVIEW: LEDLENSER MH8 HEADLAMP Weeks into the COVID-19 lockdown and my mental health is definitely taking a hit. Turn left at Boundary Road (look for the Anderson Garden sign), cross the ford and park at the picnic area. REVIEW: SALOMON OUTLINE GTX THE 4 BEST PLACES TO SEE GLOW WORMS ON THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD The Melba Gully glow worms are probably the area’s most famous. Madsen’s Track Nature Walk at Melba Gully is an easy 1.5 km rainforest walking track, just a few minutes drive from the Great Ocean Road. It’s a great place to stop off for a walk during the day, for an easy introduction to the area’s cool temperaterainforests.

Getting There: Access is from the Western Highway between Beaufort and Ararat. Do not turn off where there is a brown and white tourist sign to Langi-Ghiran State Park.
