I’ve been performing burlesque for almost 13 years now and the museum feels like a second home. The first time I wandered into it, it was hidden in a tiny little room off Fremont Street… years later, it finally has the exhibit and the space it deserves and I adore being able to watch it start to give back to the local community. Burlesque is a huge part of Americana and an even bigger part of Las Vegas and, besides the yearly weekender, this is where history is being made. What once was the naughtiest entertainment you could find is now a political and fringe art form. Las Vegas is not where burlesque came to die. It’s where burlesque came to live, to preserve it’s history and re-invent itself. It’s an art form where women have always had a voice, even when they were playing Greek statues. Come to the museum. Take the tour. Join as a member. Find the local, independent, off the strip shows. Experience where burlesque came from, what is once was and what it has become. Yes, it might get raunchy. Yes, it might get political. Yes, it will definitely be risque and challenge a lot of your preconceived notions. But nothing ever grew in a comfort zone. This is Sin City. Challenge yourself. Being a burlesque performer myself, I have a great fascination and appreciation for those that paved the way for us. There are some really amazing and memorable pieces at the Burlesque Hall of Fame such as Dita Von Teese's first giant martini glass prop, Jayne Mansfield's heart shaped couch, Sally Rand's feather fans, and numerous costumes/memorabilia. I'm so glad to see how BHOF has grown and that they have secured a new location for some of their amazing treasures! read less – 5/08/2019Erin W.

Challenge yourself. read less – 7/13/2019thelysha

A guided tour is included with the admission price, and I highly recommend that you take it. The exhibits trace the history of burlesque from the 19th to the 21st century, with photos, costumes and other items from some of the greatest stars of the genre. The tour puts it all into context, with a modern and sophisticated take on the evolution of the performance art known as burlesque. This is one of the most interesting places I’ve visited in Las Vegas! read less – 12/19/2019DavidLMiller

Located off the beaten path in the upcoming Arts District this quaint museum deserves your time. The self-guided tour is worth the price of its budget friendly admission alone, but should you opt for the guided tour, at no extra charge, Emmie is a joy. Emmie will delight you with vast knowledge of the evolution of the art of burlesque. The walls are filled with artifacts, memorabilia, history, and pasties of all sorts. Yet I promise you’ll be blown away because the tour guide, Emmy, not only knows her stuff, she is as humorous and people-savvy as the legendary entertainers this little museum lionizes. The admission fee is criminally under-priced compared to the 90-or-so minutes of entertainment value you’ll receive on this tour. read less– 1/21/2020

I wasn't sure what to expect, as some of the attractions in Vegas have a very tourist-trap feel. This is definitely NOT the case with BHOF. Every ticket comes with a guided tour through the timeline/evolution of Burlesque. Today our guide was Emie and she was honestly one of the best presenters/guides I've had. Very engaging, and her knowledge of the history of Burlesque was top-notch. Not once did she have to read from the timeline, and her passion for the industry comes through at all times. In fact, after the tour we had to ask where to go to see some quality Burlesque shows because she made *us* excited about the industry through her presentation. Prepare to spend at least an hour taking it all in – the tour itself took about 15-20 minutes, but there is way more to see and read about than just the timeline. Be sure to get some pics with feather fans, boas, and gloves in the back, too!! We will definitely be bringing visitors here in the future. A Vegas must-see! read less– 9/07/2019

We were fortunate enough to come upon The Burlesque Hall of Fame, a delightful little museum dedicated to the fine art of risqué stage entertainment. The Hall does a great job of conveying the fun of Burlesque while delivering a lot of factual historical information. It’s stocked with many many photos, some intriguing artifacts, and various props one can play with if you so inclined. But it’s the guided tour that ties it all together. Our host delivered a fantastic performance, while packing her talk with lots of great info. read less – 10/23/2019*
