Couldn't connect to the MySQL server. RATING FOR ANDREW BRINKERHOFF Comments:1420 - This is easily the worst instruction I have ever received in all of my education, period.Dr. Brinkerhoff seemed unengaged at best, apathetic at worst. His teaching style was a cluster of sidetracks and tangents, often to the point that his diversions would thoroughly confuse the class on a topic that they thought they understood. RATING FOR JORGE ARVESU CARBALLO Comments:1321 - Overall, Dr. Arvesu is a good professor. You take a quiz once a week, every Wednesday, and have about 3 midterms throughout the semester. You have homework throughout the semester, but it\\\'s only due for extra credit at the end of the semester, so it\\\'s optional, however very helpful for his quizzes and being able to follow along in his class in general. RATING FOR RANDY HACKER Comments:MKT 3305 - Yes he's a good teacher, but his class is the hardest. He makes his tests way trickier than they need to be. The only way to do well is to read the entire textbook because the questions are very specefic details from the chapters. RATING FOR COREY HACKWORTH Comments:Classical Mythology - Dr. Hackworth for Mythology is a good choice. He's good during the lectures, they're usually about what the last reading was and he goes through and makes it detailed and fun. The only homework was reading and then every weekend a short 1 RATING FOR JOHN SOLIS Comments:1305 - I took Dr. Solis last fall and really enjoyed his class.Although our meeting time was at 8 am (ugh!), Dr. Solis tried to keep things interesting (usually by talking about Baylor football or his family) and was very chill and accommodating (e.g. he frequently let us leave early). RATING FOR MARGO SHANKS Comments:PUBH 3331 - Professor shanks is always very helpful and encouraging. This class is basically just a huge group project and a few lectures. Her lectures can be boring, but the content is usually easy. She guide you through the group project and gives you severalin-class work days.
RATING FOR YOO-MI CHIN Comments:ECO 2306 - Professor Chin is a wonderful professor and I highly recommend taking her, like legit. She was extremely organized and was one of the only professors I had that actually transitioned to online learning effectively. I think everyone that doesn't like her probably didn't pay attention in class and/or didn't take effectivenotes.
RATING FOR AMY MADDOX Comments:STA 2381 - Probably my favorite class of the semester.Dr Maddox is a great professor and explains the material really well. There's quite a bit of homework involved. Over the semester, she gave us 7-8 worksheets to take home and turn in for a grade the next week.BUBOOKS.COM

2003-2021 Bubooks.com - All rights reserved RATING FOR ROBERT DOYLE Comments:BIO 1306 - I had Dr. Doyle in team-taught bio with Dr. Trumble, and though he was my favorite of the two, he definitely gave us a run for our money.I had him completely online because of covid, and his lectures were nice, he was able to answer questions pretty well and made sure we knew he was there to help us, but man, thosetests.
RATING FOR DON CARPENTER Comments:2303 - This is the best financial accounting class, hands down.If you want an intelligent, lively, and caring professor, Don Carpenter is your man. Although accounting can be a tricky subject at times, Professor Carpenter does a really great job of explaining the material in a thorough and memorable manner (whether it be with nerf guns, charcoal from his barbecue grill, model cars, etc). RATING FOR JOHN SOLIS Comments:1305 - I took Dr. Solis last fall and really enjoyed his class.Although our meeting time was at 8 am (ugh!), Dr. Solis tried to keep things interesting (usually by talking about Baylor football or his family) and was very chill and accommodating (e.g. he frequently let us leave early). RATING FOR RAY STOCKSTAD Comments:1310 - If you care about improving your writing and learning the “theory” so to speak about writing, taking Mr. Stockstad would be a good idea.He assigns readings and responses from almost the entire textbook. This class will not be a blow over easy gen ed. Mr. Stockstad genuinely cares so much for his students and understands where you are coming from, as he is also a student RATING FOR MARK TAYLOR Comments:2401/2402 - I don't even know where to start with this class or this man. Dr. Taylor's anatomy sections, and all the hours of studying that have gone with it, have simultaneously involved some of my favorite and least favorite memories of sophomore year. The content is so intricate that I couldn't help but being blown away by God's handiwork, but I also wanted to give up and run out of RATING FOR STANLEY WILFONG Comments:2351 - Professor Wilfong is the most passionate person I have ever met about nutrition. He makes it very clear that the main goal of his class is to prove that FAD diets are bad and you can eat basically anything. He is very open to having a personal relationships with his students, and if you're lucky, he'll have a litter of baby corgis and invite you over to his house to meet them. RATING FOR FRANKLIN POTTS Comments:BUS 3302 - I had to take this class as it's part of the BA minor and he is the only prof that teaches it.Honestly I learned more on my own than I did listening to him. I typically worked on stuff for other classes. No powerpoints, no SI. It's really not that hard to study for if you just write down everything he says will be on the test and just use the book for info. RATING FOR DAVID WHITFORD Comments:REL 3330 - At the beginning of the semester, we came out of every class saying was an arrogant asshole.Like, he made it his job to shit on students and make them think he was right about everything. Throughout the semester he got a lot better though, RATING FOR DEREK DODSON Comments:Christian Scriptures - Dr. Dodson is a very nice guy, but I personally do not learn well with his teaching style. His powerpoints include everything you need to know, but the class itself is very boring making it hard to be engaged. In his defense, he was teaching a class of 300 which makes it hard to make a connection. If you were struggling in his class you would probably be referredBUBOOKS.COM

There are 5 speeches, a midterm, a final, and other points that come from other small assignments that aren't hard. The speeches come pretty back to back, but if you sit down and do the work, you can knock out the outline inabout an hour.

RATING FOR LOURENCO PAZ Comments:ECO 3331 - The first day of class you will most likely be caught off guard by Professor Paz.He doesn't fit the stereotypical professor, but don't let that bother you. 2003-2021 Bubooks.com - All rights reserved RATING FOR DANIELLE M. WILLIAMS Comments:1302 - Likes: She really helps us with our essays everyday and is the best professor I've had at Baylor and will be the best I've ever had.She also gives out extra credit for going to the writing center. She's a very welcoming professor and extremely kind. Her teaching ability is phenomenal and should be your first choice when choosing a professor. RATING FOR BESSIE KEBAARA Comments:1305 - Dr. Kebaara is a very nice lady, despite what the other reviews say.She doesn't really like teaching freshman level courses, but she did a pretty good job. The tests are not too bad and neither are the "clicker quizzes." RATING FOR JONATHAN MILES Comments:2306 - If you're reading this, you are probably aware that Genetics is a very difficult class, and you proceed with the assumption that it WILL take up most of your time.Go to office hours/LA hours. I had a class conflict with his regular office hours so I would schedule appointments with him (Which honestly worked better as I had 1-on-1 time to ask him things). RATING FOR JULIA DANIEL Comments:2310 - I took Daniels' 2310 - American Literary Cultures in the COVID summer of 2020.She was such an amazing professor. She was always available and made the learning incredibly enjoyable. I absolutely hate reading, but for Dr. Daniels' class, I thoroughly enjoyed the class discussions and the books we read. RATING FOR ANDREW BRINKERHOFF Comments:1420 - This is easily the worst instruction I have ever received in all of my education, period.Dr. Brinkerhoff seemed unengaged at best, apathetic at worst. His teaching style was a cluster of sidetracks and tangents, often to the point that his diversions would thoroughly confuse the class on a topic that they thought they understood.BUBOOKS.COM

Mr. Stockstad genuinely cares so much for his students and understands where you are coming from, as he is also a student RATING FOR JORGE ARVESU CARBALLO Comments:1321 - Overall, Dr. RATING FOR COREY HACKWORTH Comments:Classical Mythology - Dr. Hackworth for Mythology is a good choice. He's good during the lectures, they're usually about what the last reading was and he goes through and makes it detailed and fun. The only homework was reading and then every weekend a short 1 RATING FOR RANDY HACKER Comments:MKT 3305 - Yes he's a good teacher, but his class is the hardest. He makes his tests way trickier than they need to be. The only way to do well is to read the entire textbook because the questions are very specefic details from the chapters. RATING FOR CRYSTAL USENKO Comments:3422 - Dr. Usenko is very nice, but her lab is a bit time-consuming.The quizzes are super easy, as long as you read the section. Just make sure to take RATING FOR YOO-MI CHIN Comments:ECO 2306 - Professor Chin is a wonderful professor and I highly recommend taking her, like legit. She was extremely organized and was one of the only professors I had that actually transitioned to online learning effectively. I think everyone that doesn't like her probably didn't pay attention in class and/or didn't take effectivenotes.

Dr. Daniels is incredibly caring, her cheesy jokes keep you laughing, andBUBOOKS.COM
RATING FOR CRYSTAL USENKO Comments:3422 - Dr. Usenko is very nice, but her lab is a bit time-consuming.The quizzes are super easy, as long as you read the section. Just make sure to take RATING FOR CHIRS RIOS Comments:1350 - this is a very hard class, especially for a required course.Professor Rios is definitely passionate about what he talks about but the structure of class is very difficult. You have tons of readings each day and a quiz each class. he calls on students to explain the readings which are often difficult to understand. the exams weren't too hard so if you're passionate about RATING FOR JOHN RANDY HALL Comments:1420 & 2301 - Professor Hall was my favorite prof this year because he is a great teacher, makes class somewhat entertaining, and really helped his students manage exams. He is an extremely skilled teacher that knows what he is talking about, especially for physics. However, most kids had to teach themselves everything on the homework (which is not easily doable for Physics 1 unless RATING FOR DAVID WHITFORD Comments:REL 3330 - At the beginning of the semester, we came out of every class saying was an arrogant asshole.Like, he made it his job to shit on students and make them think he was right about everything. Throughout the semester he got a lot better though, RATING FOR AMY MADDOX Comments:STA 2381 - Probably my favorite class of the semester.Dr Maddox is a great professor and explains the material really well. There's quite a bit of homework involved. Over the semester, she gave us 7-8 worksheets to take home and turn in for a grade the next week.BUBOOKS.COM

He is a MUST HAVE for 1300 (I finished his course with a 99) and 2365-2366 if you take those. RATING FOR PHIL YOUNG Comments:2302 - If you want an A , you need to take Dr. Young's class. His class has 3 tests, weekly quizzes, and about 8 Homeworks which are pretty easy if RATING FOR RANDY HACKER Comments:MKT 3305 - Yes he's a good teacher, but his class is the hardest. He makes his tests way trickier than they need to be. The only way to do well is to read the entire textbook because the questions are very specefic details from the chapters. RATING FOR SHAUN EIDE Comments:2302 - Eide is the sweetest man ever.He really cares about his students. He's really smart and good at statistics, but because of that he teaches at a really high level. I'm in QBA 3305 right now and it's literally easier than his class.
