WEBCAMS | BROCKHOLES NATURE RESERVE Brockholes now has immersive new webcams to view wildlife from different angles around the 250-acre nature reserve. Thanks to funding from the Lancashire Environmental Fund (LEF), you can now view the sights from the stunning views over Number One Pit Lake and Meadow Lake, see wildlife you have never seen before, and be part of the action at Brockholes Nature Reserve.RESERVE MAP
Here at Brockholes we have used the expertise of The Lancashire Wildlife Trust to create habitats that will encourage lots of different species to visit the site, across the year. Located just off the M6, Brockholes is the perfect location for a family day out, with over 250 acres of nature reserve to explore. This is a dog free zone. TRAINING | BROCKHOLES NATURE RESERVE Become certified at Brockholes. We run accredited Level 2 Forest School Assistant and Level 3 Forest School Leader training courses and ITC Outdoor First Aid Level 6 (SCQF) courses. Courses are held at Brockholes Nature Reserve, amidst a 250-acre wild space full of nature and wildlife in its most natural form. Refreshments will be provided. DIRECTIONS | BROCKHOLES NATURE RESERVE From M6 North Bound: As you come off the motorway get in the middle lane. At the roundabout turn right, signed A59 to Blackburn. Stay in the left hand lane. Just before the traffic lights, take the FIRST exit signed “Brockholes Nature Reserve” heading north over the river (adjacent to the off-ramp slip road).FOREST SCHOOL

We run accredited Level 2 Forest School Assistant and Level 3 Forest School Leader training courses and ITC Outdoor First Aid Level 6 (SCQF) courses. Courses are held at Brockholes Nature Reserve, amidst a 250-acre wild space full of nature and wildlife in its most natural form. Refreshments will be provided. DIRECTIONS | BROCKHOLES NATURE RESERVE From M6 North Bound: As you come off the motorway get in the middle lane. At the roundabout turn right, signed A59 to Blackburn. Stay in the left hand lane. Just before the traffic lights, take the FIRST exit signed “Brockholes Nature Reserve” heading north over the river (adjacent to the off-ramp slip road). Here at Brockholes we have used the expertise of The Lancashire Wildlife Trust to create habitats that will encourage lots of different species to visit the site, across the year.
