Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information and Resources The University of Bridgeport is monitoring the spread of COVID-19 carefully and is consulting with University officials from the Student Health Services, the College of Health Sciences, UB Security, and local, state, and federal agencies. Provost Appoints New Interim Dean Tarek Sobh, PhD, interim provost, announced that after consulting with program directors, he has named Khaled Elleithy, PhD, interim dean of the College of Engineering, Business, and Education. New Interim Provost Named at the University of Bridgeport Stephen Healey, interim president, announced that after consulting with faculty and staff, he has named Tarek M. Sobh, PhD, PE, interim provost, effective immediately.
