Putting it differently, this family rivalry and a bloody history of ugly events related with the same can easily be considered as an essential feature of life in (mostly rural) Punjab and that is the reason a major chunk of the Punjabi Songs (even in the present times) revolve around the theme of ego wins, guns, clashes, killings, court cases and similar things. BAAZIGAR (1993) & A KISS BEFORE DYING (1993) It was a highly entertaining and gripping movie, well made by the director duo Abbas Mastan, but it took most of its inspiration from "A Kiss Before Dying" (1993).You will find every main character and sequence of this Shahrukh Khan starrer, there in the English Originaltoo.

KARMA (TAMIL/2015) (MOVIES TO SEE BEFORE YOU DIE A warm welcome to all friends with a loving invitation to read my personal expressions on movies, music, poetry and life. Music, Movies and Books are like EARS and EYES to me, and if you also feel the same, then you are sure going to find many interesting articles in the different sections of the site worth your precious time and attention.
A STUPID MYTH
It was the time around the release of Dev Anand’s GANGSTER in the mid-90s, when a debate started in our group of young movie buffs about a fascinating case related with Dev Anand and a ban imposed upon him for wearing black coat or suit by the court.. Obviously it wasn’t anything to be blindly believed in as it ought to be a rumour probably spread for a movie’s publicity in Dev’s prime SHOLAY'S FAMOUS TRAIN CHASE SEQUENCE AND A SIMILAR ONE IN Recently I got hold of an old English Classic NORTH WEST FRONTIER, directed By J. Lee. Thompson, released way back in 1959.And the main reason behind selecting this flick among many others was that it featured one of my favourite comedians I. S. Johar. Though he was not playing a comic character in the movie as usual, but his typical witty one-liners were still there and the film did turn out KIARA ADVANI IN LUST STORIES (2018/NETFLIX) AND THE UGLY The film has all exceptional performances featuring Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar, Manisha Koirala, Kiara Advani and Neha Dhupia. However the section truly representing the title is the one directed by Karan Johar focusing on Kiara Advani as a newly-wed, unsatisfied girl, waiting for her husband to realize the same and perform better in bed.
