Kabbalat Shabbat is streamed Fridays at 6:30PM, Shabbat Morning services are being streamed at 9:30AM. CONVERSION - B'NAI JESHURUN - BJ At BJ, candidates for conversion to Judaism are welcomed with openness, sensitivity, and compassion. Though many factors motivate individuals to choose Judaism, the journey to conversion converges around several essential components:BLOOD DRIVE
We have added an additional Blood Drive to help address the severe blood shortage our region is experiencing due to COVID-19. Donors are needed now more than MUSIC - B'NAI JESHURUN - BJ Music at B’nai Jeshurun reflects the rich kaleidoscope of Jewish diversity and is integral to our meaningful experience of prayer. It serves as a bridge between different cultures and traditions, and exemplifies BJ’s desire to welcome and embrace all Jews in ourcommunity.
TOWARD SHABBAT: SHELAH LEKHA On May 11, the Pew report on Jewish Americans in 2020 was released. Given the eruption of violence in Israel and Gaza at that moment, it is no surprise it garnered less attention than it might normally havein a quieter hour.
LGBTQIA+ - B'NAI JESHURUN - BJ Pronouns. BJ is a diverse community, and we strive to be inclusive, accepting and embracing of all. In order to more explicitly demonstrate respect and acceptance of members from our community who are transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming, many of us have recently begun to use gender pronouns in our staff emailsignatures.

Prior to rabbinical school, she pursued her love of Talmud at SVARA: A Traditionally Radical Yeshiva, Yeshivat Hadar, and the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies.JEWISH FOLK TALES
The Jewish people are known as “the people of the book”, but we also have a long tradition of oral storytelling. Early in the Torah, Moses explains to the Israelites how they will recount the story of the Exodus to their children before they have even left Egypt: “In days to come, when your child asks you, ‘What does this mean?’ say, ‘With a mighty hand the Lord brought us out ofMIKE WITMAN
