Main Stage. The famous Birmingham Pride main stage returns, even bigger for 2021, with added runway, increased VIP area, larger screens for better visibility and of course an amazing line up of international, national and local recording artists. ABOUT BIRMINGHAM PRIDE Birmingham Pride held its first event back in 1997. Over the following 24 years Birmingham Pride has become one of the most important LGBTQ+ festivals in the UK attracting in excess of 40,000 people over the course of the weekend to the festival site in the heart of the LGBTQ+ village and over 75,000 participating in or watching our annual pride parade through the streets of Birmingham. USEFUL EVENT INFORMATION Pride at Night from 10pm 18+ only. After 10pm on both Saturday and Sunday, only visitors who are over 18 will be permitted entry. We operate a challenge 25 policy - so if you’re lucky enough to look under 25, please ensure that you bring appropriate ID. Anyone who's under 18 is welcome to stay on the site after 10pm - but if they leavethe

SHYGIRL – BIRMINGHAM PRIDE Since debuting in 2016, multidisciplinary British artist Shygirl has maintained the same ethos: that people are not two-dimensional. Her search for kindred spirits in the capital’s underground led her to co-founding one of the scene’s most vital collectives: the clublabel NUXXE.
SXMSON – BIRMINGHAM PRIDE Born and raised in the North-West of London, Iranian/Jewish SXMSON grew up listening to 90’s and early 2000’s R&B music. This was the sound that eventually inspired him to pursue a career as a R&B/Popsinger-songwriter.
