BODIES OF WATER: THE 13TH SHANGHAI BIENNALE Bodies of Water: The 13th Shanghai BiennaleNovember 10, 2020–July 18, 2021. “The flow and flush of waters sustain our own bodies, but also connect them to other bodies, to other worlds beyond our human selves.”. Titled Bodies of Water and unfolding progressively over several months between 2020 and 2021, the 13th Shanghai Biennale will DAK’ART: AFRICAN CONTEMPORARY ART BIENNALE (SENEGAL The Dakar Biennale was conceived in 1989 as a biennale alternating between literature and art. The biennale has been created thanks to the will of both the Senegalese state which assumes the supervision and the local artists who since the seventies, have been organizing regular annual art exhibitions which bring to light the different shapes of the evolution of contemporary art creation. CURITIBA BIENNIAL / BIENAL DE CURITIBA (BRAZIL) The Curitiba Biennial was conceived in 1990 under the name of VentoSul – Latin-American Visual Arts Biennial. In its first edition in 1993 it emerged as one of the main exhibitions of Latin American art, including the participation of some of the most expressive contemporary artists from the region.
