BIBENDUM WINE CO.
Bibendum is an Australian based importer of all types of wine EGLY-OURIET :: PRODUCERS :: BIBENDUM WINE CO. “Egly-Ouriet is one of the reference-point growers in Champagne, with a deep selection of wines that offer remarkable transparency to site, vintage and variety SPINIFEX GARÇON 2018 :: AUSTRALIAN RED :: AUSTRALIA Celebrating the great heritage of Barossa Valley Grenache, Pete Schell has sourced from three dry-grown, old-vine parcels for this wine. One in the extreme west at Moppa (55 years old), one in northern Barossa at Ebenezer (90 years old) and one in Bethany in the east (85 years old). The winemaking is very much in the traditional Spinifex mould: slow, natural fermentations with gentle pump DOMAINE WEINBACH :: PRODUCERS :: BIBENDUM WINE CO. PLACE OF CHANGING WINDS :: PRODUCERS :: BIBENDUM WINE CO. Our notes: Place of Changing Winds is the vineyard project of Bibendum’s founder and owner Robert Walters. It is a single site in the Macedon Ranges of Victoria where Walters and STOCKINGER :: PRODUCERS :: BIBENDUM WINE CO. Our notes: Stockinger is one of the great artisanal coopers of Europe and one of the last to do everything of importance by hand. Situated in Waidhofen an der Ybbs (in the Alpine foothills about 150 kilometeres west of Vienna) this is a small family owned cooperage run by father and son, Franz and Mathias, who are both themselves mastercoopers.
GUILHEM & J-HUGUES GOISOT IRANCY LES MAZELOTS 2014 Pinot Noir from 100 year old vines. Irancy is a small hamlet, with a little over 300 inhabitants, situated roughly equidistant between Auxerre and Chablis. The village lies two kilometres from the Yonne River and is surrounded by a large natural amphitheatre of vines. It is one of the most northern AOCs in France to grow red grapes. As in the neighbouring wine villages of Chitry and St-Bris LUCIANO SANDRONE :: PRODUCERS :: BIBENDUM WINE CO. Sandrone's layered and polished Barbera is drawn from three sites: Cascina Pe Mol, Ravera and Rocche di San Nicola (in Novello). At between 350-450 metres, these are some of the finest, highest and BONDAR ROSÉ 2020 :: AUSTRALIAN ROSÉ A blend of 95% Grenache and 5% Cinsault, sourced from four sites with a range of soil types--from the white sands of Blewitt Springs to the cracking, black clays of Whites Valley. Fruit from all four blocks was hand-picked, then crushed and left to sit on skins for varying amounts of time (three, six and twelve hours). Two parcels of Grenache were fermented cooler, while a smaller parcel ofBIBENDUM WINE CO.

DANIEL BOULAND MORGON CORCELETTE 2018 :: BEAUJOLAIS This particular wine is the first of two cuvées that focus on Corcelette's pure, sandy, granitic soils. This soil generates wines of great perfume and finer, rounder tannins than those of Morgon's more schist-influenced terroirs. 2018's healthy yields allowed Bouland to separate his 'younger' vines in this area--60 years on average (so hardly young!)--from his very oldest bush vines which are STOCKINGER :: PRODUCERS :: BIBENDUM WINE CO.
