WELCOMING OUR BERYL BIKES Today, we announced the latest milestone in Beryl’s history: our first public bike share launch in Bournemouth and Poole! We'll be delivering a thousand of our own Beryl Bikes over the spring and summer months this year, making it easier, quicker and more enjoyable for residents and visitors to get around their city.. Over the past 18 months, our team has quietly and deliberately been SAFE AND LEGAL USAGE OF BERYL E-SCOOTERS Tips for using e-Scooters. Avoid any roads with a speed limit over 30mph (the speed limit for scooters is 12.5mph). Check over your shoulder regularly, and before moving in lane. Give yourself time to practise in a low traffic area, especially if it’s your first ride. Stay in your lane and avoid weaving through traffic. LASERLIGHT - WHITE LED + LASER BIKE LIGHT Black. £125.00. Add to cart. RIDING A BERYL E-SCOOTER To slow down or stop the e-scooter, there are two brake levers by the handlebars. Pull back on both brake levers smoothly when you want to slow or stop the e-scooter. To end your ride, find the nearest Beryl Bay on the map in the app and park neatly in a bay to avoid the out of bay fee. Tap 'End my ride' in the app and listen for the e-scooter REPORTING THE MISUSE OF E-SCOOTERS If you see an incident, accident or crime taking place, or are actively in danger, call 999 to report. We work closely with the police in our towns and cities to investigate incidents and to ensure the rules around riding e-scooters are clear. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HIRE A PEDAL BIKE? (UK) This option is best for a single ride. You pay £1 to unlock the bike, then 5p per minute of riding. At the end of the ride, we calculate how long you used the bike for and your card will be charged. Example: You unlock the bike and ride for 15 minutes. You end the ride in a Beryl Bay. You pay: £1 unlock fee + (5p x 15 minutes) = £1 + 75p

Check over your shoulder regularly, and before moving in lane. Give yourself time to practise in a low traffic area, especially if it’s your first ride.
