This week we are very excited to bring you wines from Burgundy’s northern edge, the incomparable wines of Sylvain Pataille. All poured from 3-Liter Jeroboams, we will be pouring four distinct terroirs of Aligoté Doré from Sylvain Pataille. While we often hear that Chardonnay is the white grape of Burgundy, this is not exactly true. MUSCADET AND BEAUJOLAIS ALL DAY Muscadet and Beaujolais All Day | 5/18 – 5/23/21. We’re finally supposed to actually have some beautiful warm weather in the mid-week, so I thought I’d return to two old favorites and offer them both for the whole week long. We poured through some Jeroboams of the Pépier 2017 ‘Clisson’ and it was absolutely saline with picturesque THE EXQUISITE BURGUNDY OF CLAIRE NAUDIN The Exquisite Burgundy of Claire Naudin. Claire Naudin is a wonderfully sensitive vigneronne, making some the most delicious Burgundy today. Farming on 22 hectares, she took over the domaine in 1994, and began converting the vineyards to an organic and biodynamic method.
